Passionate CV engineer, specialized in the use of event-based / neuromorphic cameras.
About Me
I am a independent engineer specializing in computer vision. More specifically, I focus on event-based (neuromorphic) sensors.
My goal is to find applications where neuromorphic sensors really shine and have a positive impact from an ethical perspective.
I am currently focusing on industrial applications, biological research (microscopy) and biodiversity monitoring.
Projects
High Speed 3DStructured light
Prophesee EVK3D Structured Light Depth Camera
Product-focused depth solution based on event-based vision and structured light, developed to deliver robust 3D sensing in demanding industrial conditions.
Predictive maintenanceFrequency mapPhase map
Vibration Motion Analysis for Predictive Maintenance
Built frequency and phase maps from periodic event streams to characterize vibration signatures and detect early drifts for predictive maintenance.
RotationMotion compensationIndustrial inspection
Rotation Motion Analysis Without Stopping Machines
Real-time inspection of rotating machines with rotation compensation and contrast maximization, enabling diagnostics without stopping production.
TranslationCompensationHigh-speed vision
Linear Motion Compensation
Space-time tunnel selection and homography-based event warping for conveyor-like linear motion, converting temporal precision into sharper frame-like reconstructions.
TriggeringData loggingSlow motion replay
Smart Triggers for Data Saving and on-demand Slowmo Replay
Virtual-fence smart triggers tosaves pre/post raw data windows on activity spikes and replays them at arbitrary speed while live monitoring continues.
Event-Based Sensors
Event-based (neuromorphic) cameras do not capture full frames at fixed intervals. Instead, each pixel asynchronously reports brightness changes with microsecond precision. This enables ultra-low-latency perception, high dynamic range, and efficient processing for high-speed industrial monitoring.
